Who operates this site

This website is operated as YouInvested / You Invested. We have not published a separate legal-entity name, postal address, or public email. Privacy questions and requests can be sent through our contact form.

Calculator inputs

Loan, income, and investment figures you type into the calculators are processed in your browser for the on-page estimate. We do not operate a first-party backend that stores those calculator inputs. That is not the same as “no data is transmitted.” Loading a page still makes network requests for the page itself, optional analytics (if you accept), security checks, and third-party content described below.

What we collect

• Usage and device data (after you Accept analytics): pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device information, and a Google Analytics client identifier. This can distinguish visits and is not “anonymous” or incapable of identifying a person.
• Contact form: name, email, subject, message, and a Cloudflare Turnstile token. Used only to read and reply to your message. We do not use the form to add you to a marketing list.
• Consent choice: Accept or Reject is stored in first-party localStorage as analytics_consent.
• Security and delivery: Cloudflare may process IP address, request headers, and bot-management signals for every visitor.

Processors and other third parties

Depending on the page and your choices, data may be sent to:

• Google Analytics 4 (G-59QBLW2NFH) — site usage analytics, only after you Accept. Advertising storage stays denied. Google may process data in the United States.
• Formspree — receives contact-form contents so we can reply.
• Cloudflare — content delivery, bot management, and (on the contact page) Turnstile spam protection.
• Content CDNs — Font Awesome on cdnjs, Chart.js and US map data on jsDelivr, and D3 libraries on d3js.org. Those hosts typically see your IP and user-agent when their files load.
• YouTube / Google images — calculator pages load a thumbnail from img.youtube.com when you view the demo poster (not an embedded player).
• Google Fonts endpoints — some pages preconnect to Google Fonts; a stylesheet is not currently loaded.

We do not sell your personal information. If you Accept analytics, identifiers and IP-derived data are disclosed to Google for analytics (not ads).

Notice at collection (including California)

If you use the contact form, we collect identifiers (name, email) and the contents of your message to respond. If you Accept cookies, we collect internet/network activity through Google Analytics. Retention: contact messages are kept as long as needed to reply and operate the inbox; analytics follow Google Analytics retention; your consent choice stays in localStorage until you change it or clear site data. To request access, correction, or deletion of contact-form information, use the contact form.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

• Accept or Reject analytics in the cookie banner, or reopen it with Cookie settings in the footer.
• Use the contact form to ask for access, correction, or deletion of a message you sent us.

What we store

The calculators themselves do not need cookies. The site uses first-party storage for your analytics choice and, if you Accept, Google Analytics cookies. Cloudflare may also set security cookies when it delivers the site. There is no separate “functional preferences” cookie, and we do not require an essential cookie that cannot be disabled for the calculators to run.
